●May 1951 Established Taiyoutsushinkougyo Corporation.
●May 1951 Started manufacture of mica capacitors.
●July 1957 Started the first mass production of polyethlene terephthalate film capacitors in Japan.

●April 1963 Established Ibaraki-Naka factory.
●July 1964 Established Nagano-Matsushiro factory.
●October 1965 Acquired first license to use the Japanese Industrial Standards mark.
●April 1967 Established Taiwan Tai Yang Electronic Co., Ltd., a joint venture in Taiwan.
●April 1968 Developed capacitors for microwave oven use.
●April 1969 Developed capacitors for TV resonance, and for S-shaping correction.
  
1970's
●February 1973 Developed the first solid-type high voltage plastic film capacitor (30KV) in Japan.
●April 1973 Established Sun Electronics Sdn. Bhd. a joint venture in Malaysia.
Started mass production of low voltage polyethlene terephthalate film capacitors.
●December 1975 Started mass production of Across-the-line capacitors, acquired certification of meeting UL and CSA standards.
●September 1978 Developed Hi-Lamb'da and Lamb'da series of tone quality capacitors.

●August 1982 Stopped operation of Sun Electronics Sdn. Bhd. following the installation of an automated line at the Ibaraki-Naka factory.
●October 1983 Developed high temperature resistant, compact, high voltage plastic film capacitors.
●February 1986 Developed resonance/S-shaping correction film capacitor for high current circuits.
●August 1987 Took a share in Tracon Korea Corporation.
●October 1987 Changed name of company to Taitsu Corporation.
●September 1988 Developed high voltage plastic film capacitor (10 to 15 KV).
●March 1989 Established distributor Taitsu Singapore Pte. Ltd. in Singapore.
●September 1989 Established mass production of cased plastic film capacitors for resonance/S-shaping correction.
●December 1989 Established Taitsu Electronics (M) Sdn. Bhd. in Malaysia.
  
1990's
●September 1990 Developed high temperature resistant Plastic film capacitors.
●January 1991 Established Ibaraki-Ohmiya factory.
●April 1992 Developed high voltage cased capacitors for the dynamic focus.
●January 1993 Tracon Korea Corporation a joint venture, expands to Qingdao, China.
●December 1993 Developed new constructional miniaturized resonance capacitors.
●August 1994 Established mass production of pin type (- lead wire) high voltage plastic film capacitors.
●September 1995 Established Reliability Test Center (R.T.C).
●August 1996 Developed miniaturized resonance & S-Shaping correction Film capacitor.
●September 1996 ISO9002 for Nagano-Matsushiro Factory was approved.
●February 1997 Established distributor Taitsu America Inc. in U.S.A.
●October 1997 Established Tai Yang Electronic(H.K.) Ltd. in Hong Kong.
●November 1999 Expand high voltage plastic film capacitor production Capacity at Ibaraki-Ohmiya Factory.

●January 2000 Developed all metallized dielectric resonance film capacitor.
●February 2001 Developed highcurrent M-PET capacitor (MA TYPE)
●December 2001 Developed tone quality capacitor (nH2 TYPE)
●February 2002 ISO9002 for Qingdao Tracon Electronics Co.,Ltd. was approved.
●December 2002 ISO14000 for Qingdao Tracon Electronics Co.,Ltd. was approved.
●August 2003 Established Taitsu (Shanghai) Trading Co.,Ltd. in CHINA.
●March 2004 ISO14001 for Taitsu Corporation Head Office.
ISO14001 for Taitsu Corporation Ibaraki-Omiya factory.
●April 2004 Ibaraki-Naka factory is integrated into the Ibaraki-Omiya factory.
●September 2004 Production of making to non-lead beginning of all products.
